About The Artist

Hi ! Here's a little bit more about me :-) - I'm an artist based in Chorley, Lancashire, and mum to my little boy, Leo.

Creativity has always been part of who I am. From making art while watching Art Attack (millennials... IYKYK!) to attending my local art club every Wednesday after school for the grand price of 20p, I was always happiest with a paintbrush in my hand.

After studying art at college, I dreamed of a career in interior design or architecture. Life had other plans though, and I spent many years working in hospitality and healthcare.

When I became a mum in 2024, everything shifted. During maternity leave, I finally had the time and clarity to ask myself what I truly wanted—not just from a career, but for myself. I knew I wanted to create something meaningful, something I genuinely loved, and something that felt different and most importantly - making something my son could be proud of.

Humour has always been my love language & sarcasm is second nature to me. That sense of personality naturally found its way into my work.

Someone once told me they never know how I'll turn up to a party because I'll either be dressed in girly soft florals & pinks or head-to-toe in black gothic glamour. I've always loved that description because it perfectly sums up both me and my art. I'm equally drawn to delicate, romantic vintage frames and bold, moody gothic ones, and I don't believe creativity has to fit into just one style.

The idea for my business came after discovering vintage frames and imagining how I could give them a completely new life. Instead of creating traditional wall art, I wanted to create statement pieces that feel unique—art that makes people laugh, lifts their mood, sparks conversation, or simply feels like an extension of their personality.

Everything I create is for people who aren't afraid to express themselves through their homes. Whether you choose an empowering affirmation or a cheeky sarcastic statement, I hope my work brings a little more character, confidence and joy into your space.

Thank you for supporting my small business and for giving these beautiful vintage pieces a new story.

Artist Statement

My work is inspired by the belief that art should make you feel something.
Whether that's confidence, comfort, nostalgia or a laugh out loud moment, I want each piece to create a connection with the person who brings it into their home.

I work with vintage/ornate frames & mirrors because I love giving forgotten objects a new story. Their history, character and imperfections make every piece unique. By pairing them with bold typography and carefully chosen words, I create artwork that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Much like my own personality, my work embraces contrast. Some days I'm drawn to soft pinks, ornate details and romantic styling; other days it's black, dramatic and unapologetically bold. I don't believe creativity has to fit into one aesthetic, and neither should the people who collect it.

My collections are for those who decorate with confidence. For people who want their homes to reflect who they are—whether that's through empowering affirmations, witty sarcasm or statements that make guests stop, smile and start a conversation.

If my work makes someone feel seen, understood or simply makes them laugh every time they walk past it, then I've created exactly what I set out to make.
